Members of the College of Adelaide’s AKction (Aboriginal Kidney Care Collectively—Bettering Outcomes Now) group labored with TAFE SA dental hygiene college students and educators together with Kelly Clemente to co-design methods to extend oral well being care info and companies for AKction’s Kidney Warriors (First Nations Individuals residing with kidney illness).

The College of Adelaide’s Nursing Faculty Professor Janet Kelly and Margie Steffens OAM, Oral Well being Advocacy for Weak and Marginalized Communities with the Adelaide Dental Faculty, co-led this undertaking.

Three dialysis chairs have been put in at Kanggawodli, enabling Kidney Warriors to obtain dialysis in a extra culturally supportive surroundings.
